Ive heard that your local zoo will sell, and occasionally sell you some Wolf, Lion, Tiger or Bear dung. Spread that around in different parts of the garden and the cats wont come in if they think some huge animal already owns the territory.

Do you have sprinklers in your backyard? If you do you can set up a motion sensor and everytime the neighborhood cat comes in the yard they get sprayed. If you don't have sprinklers just set up a yard sprinkler and put it on a motion sensor your lawn and garden dealer can tell you how to do it. Works and it does not take long at all. Besides think about it no matter how great or horrible your neighbors are they have no way of knowing when their animal is getting in your yard at night. Water doesn't hurt and is cheaper than a dog and replacing the cat the dog eats.

Cat Away?
Cats absolutely dislike terpentine. You may want to whipe some on the fence or sprinkle a bit along the boarder of your yeard or on items. It does not take much to get the smell. Be aware that terpentine is flammable.

Please say hi to the cat! They love to visit.

u might get a dog...even a small breed dog can intimidate most cats. post a large fake barn owl on a post where the cats can clearly see it. u can get these from farm and country type stores or maybe even wal-mart in the gardening section. there may be a chemical that you can put along the border of your yard that will deter them...ask your local vet.

Put some dog pee where the cats are peeing, or even some of your own pee. That often works, believe it or not!

You could spray the things that get peed on with citrus-scented spray, cats don't like citruses.

I would let the neighbors know first hand that their animals are going into your yard, if that does not work then you either want to let them know if they do not do something about the situation you are going to report them to animal control.
