Jesus did not say that it is rong to have things, However he said that it is difficult 4 someone with alot of things to praise Jehovah and it is TRUE! BECAUSE most materialistic persons put riches or their wealth 1st place in front of God! R u a Jehovah's Witness like myself?

Well I know Jesus said "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to go to Heaven" he simply meant you cannot take your money or material possesions w/you when you die. And Jesus believed in people to give a small percentage of their money to help the poor and the widows and that God loves a cheerfull giver. He also meant to give it to the church so that the work of God could go on.

Jesus' policy in this matter is simple, we should love God more than our money. We should be devoted to God and trust Him- that's the whole purpose of the Bible- man fights to be God, to depend on himself and God shows that He is totally worthy of our trust and should be depended upon for everything. I don't think the issue is what we wear or buy, but the heart with which we wear or buy them. If we need money and think that it is our job to create it by our own effort, then we are an affront to God. But, if we depend on God and know that everything comes from Him and is a gift from Him- then we honor Him.

There's nothing wrong with it unless it takes primary position in your heart. THAT place belongs to God alone.
