I realize that this is not the correct way to insure but I just would like to know if the insurance company would pay for damages to another vehicle. We also reside in Oklahoma in case that matters.

You prob. answered your own question. If it is not correct, and if it is against the contract between you and the insurance company (your policy), then they will have the right to refund your premium and you are stuck with the damages.

Check your policy or ask your agent beforehand.
