Its not. A lot of people want to wait and thats fine but if you decide not to there is nothing wrong with that. Your a big girl and are free to make your own decisions.

My boyfriend and I actually discussed this a while back. (We didn't do it on the first date.) He told me that if he was to sleep with a girl on the first date the relationship isn't looked at as something with potential anymore. It becomes all about the sex and the other things aren't as important. Basically he said if you are looking for something long term putting it out there on the first date isn't the way to go. I'm not saying that lasting relationships don't come of this, thats just what he told me.

When females do this, we get called names by both females and males. If guys do this than they are studs. I don't get it neither. I don't agree with the stereotyping. I think it should be ok for you to have sex with someone on the first date. I did.

Its not necessarily wrong but no matter what they say guys will tend to not respect you afterwards. Also you don't know the person, you dont know their sexual past. Its a big risk. What is there to look forward to in the relationship either if you just do it on the first date. That really leaves no excitement.

Simply bcos it makesa woman seem easy and real guys like a good chase not just a quick fix.if you're looking for a Mr.Right you gotta have more respect for yourself and not lose yourself to first date on top of that the guy might think you do that on all your other dates and thus you'd get a rep for being easy and get pass around like money

If it`s wrong for females, it must be wrong for males too, cause often sex requires more than one person.
Personally, I think if anyone, male, female or transgendered, wants to have consentual sex, it`s nobody else`s business. This is the 21st century after all.

you barely know that person...better yet you don't even know if this person has an STD...9 times out of 10 they aren't going to infrom this to you...and yes thousands of people have sexual encounters with people they just meet and regret ever doing such a thing...its not so much about the agreement part its about what can happen while having sex....Protect or Unprotected things still happen and that is for fact...one slip up can cast you your life...so I say its wrong cause you don't even know they person...mentally or physically

It's not "wrong", it just increases the chance that the guy may use the double standard against you that implies if you had sex with him on the first date then you probably do it with everyone...nevermind that apparently he does as well.

If you want this man to respect you, then yes, that would be the wrong approach (getting in bed with him on the 1st date).
If you are just looking for a random booty call, and probably not expecting to hear from him again, then sleeping with him would be ideal for that type of situation.
Ultimately, it is your choice, but I would only hope (woman to woman) that you will choose the RIGHT choice.
Best of hopes for you, and happy Valentine's day!
