Love this question!!! I am from Louisiana..my ancestors migrated here from Canada during the 1700s..have always felt Canada was a place I wanted to visit. Did that after Hurricane Katrina. Have made many Canadian friends and love them dearly. So am moving there myself as soon as i sell my property here. Canada has such beautiful, wonderful people and just a nice place to live. Where i live there is very few places to just roam and enjoy..everything is owned here. Up there is so much "Crown land" to just enjoy! Also they have a great conservation program. I just love Canada..so north i go! YEAH
By the way..I am an United States Navy Veteran..Viet Nam...also a Republican..but as i see it..i just want to be happy and my Canadian friends have helped me get to that point..so don't want to hear anybody tell me I am not patriotic!

Our health care is not free, we pay taxes, lots of taxes, in return we have a health card, but at the end of the day we pay for it.

Our Country is a beautiful country with 4 great seasons. the people are wonderful, Canadians don't think they are the centre of the universe{hint, hint}, there is plenty to do here.
Why is that Americans are the first ones to trash us but when you guys travel abroad, you go to great lengths to try and pass as Canadians ie: carry a Canadian flag, wear a Canadian pin,
OH yeah, because we are the loved one around the world. If I were not Canadian I would want to imitate us as well.

Why indeed? Many different people have all manner of reasons for wanting to move to Canada. Luckily, all those ultra right wing sorts who are telling you to go won't be coming with you...contrary to what you may have read, we are NOT a nation of tree hugging bleeding heart liberals; it is just that we value life a great deal - otherwise we wouldn't have so many beautiful wilderness parks!
Oh, and we don't have joint bars here.

Is it a little or a lot better there? Fewer people? Great vistas and cold air. Nice Constitution it's in the Encyclopedia. Noticeably mostly White people and if they're civilized,I wouldn't mind, but Negroes say it's too many White people for them(cause Blacks are all Black people-outside of the ghetto(black centralized area, catering to them) they'd be real lonly .
