I get overwhelmed by what seems like the lack of value of Human life and all the killing and death headlines I hear and read about on a daily basis. It seems that killing another is as natural as childbirth and eating.

Many animals kill other animals for food or to remove them as rivals. Some animals even kill their own kind for the same reasons, and even some animals kill out of anger and a sense of vengeance. This seems to be what Humans do as well. To me it seems natural.

I see little outrage when people are killed everyday. Although observers say such are tragedies, it seems that as a society we accept and have gotten used to the killing that takes place domestically and abroad. I wonder if we have truly become conditioned to this or if it is in the natural order of human behavior.

Regardless; I wonder how many people here would be honest enough to admit they have actually thought of actually killing someone in their life at some point. I know I have at one time.

Hmm, well yeah when Im mad at someone I mean I half to be really really really mad and it does take a lot to get me that mad but then yeah I have thought about killing someone but id never do it I could never live with the guilt of that and could never take someone eleses life no matter what. But yeah murder happens so much here anymore that when I hear a story about it I think thats sad but thats about it I dont think about it again. Its kindda sad really. But no I dont think its a normal thing at all people killing people is not normal its sick and wrong. But it is normal in the way that it happens all the time now but other then that no.

the key difference is that animals live purely by instinct and biological impulses.

Humans have a free will, and the faculty of reason and intellect.

So, I disagree with the notion that homicide is normal or even natural. Homicide is psychopathic behavior.

And no, I have never thought about killing anyone.

I'm sure we all have. We're human. Things and people will piss us off. Yes, I've thought about killing a few people in my time, but what makes a difference is that I haven't. There are no laws in the animal world, animals don't know right from wrong, they know instinct. We as humans know right from wrong..... well most of us anyways!

i definitely do not see it as a normal behavior. it is wrong to take someone else's life no matter what the circumstances are. the death penalty is cruel and unjust and nobody deserves to have their life ended. people need to learn to deal with their problems in other ways. think if your best friend or mother was killed...

Yes, i admit, if there where no laws i would kill a person or two, personally as long as it doesnt hurt me i see no wrong in it being done, i know i would not feel guilt or remorse, but instead i would be happy, and find new meaning to life.
