I don't know about shitzu's, I would try going onto the AKC website and looking for registered breeders, but be careful when dealing with teacups. Often times people want these dogs because they are cute and can be carried anywhere. But they are also usually the runts of a litter and are more prone to disease and sickness. You will be very hard pressed to find one of these.

There is no such thing as a "teacup" Shih Tzu. Teacup is a sales gimic used by irresponsible breeders to describe either the runt of a litter or dogs bred smaller then the breed standard allows.
Responsible breeders do not breed undersized dogs.

Dogs delibrately bred undersized or oversized are much more prone to serious health issues including heart, kidney, liver and structural.

If looking for a Shih Tzu, look for one from a responsible breeder who breeds to the breed standard and breeds for health, temperament and longevity.

There are no teacup anythings. They are just the smallest, often too small to fit within breed standard. Don't let them fool you.

Be careful there are some VERY bad, bad breeders lately.

FIRST: Ask yourself if you are ready for a very small lound, and usually, very annoying dog.

SECOND: Go to petfinder.org and look them up. I found 930 all across the USA.

Just be careful, if you don't decide to find one at a shelter, I would contact the breed registry, and ask for a REPUTABLE breeder in your area. Be very careful, there are some crazy scams because those pups are in high demand. (Thanks to Paris Hilton)
