Fact from fiction, truth from diction. After a year you two could not hold it together. Why are you apart? Has that issue been settled? I would guess the union broke because he dumped you. He doe snot seem to be in any hurry to mend it. If you dumped him, why settle on just having him when he is horny? Whatever the case, as it stands right now, all he wants from you is your body(or parts of it)for his recreation. Having sex with him as the "benefit" part of a friendship, more than likely not going to produce anything. Why should he get more vested in a relationship when he is getting what he thinks is the best part for free? If he still had the feelings for you you wish he had, he would be trying in many more ways than just having "benefits" with you. I say, don't. wait him out and see what other cards he bring to the table.

I don't know that is what I am going through right now, everyone else on this site told me I was being used and to get rid of him for good. I don't know it's hard my x and me were going out for 3 1/2years and in april It will be 4 years that we have been around each other. It's HARD!!! but when you find out how to deal with that you should let me know how it goes.

That's his way of trying to have the cake and eating it too. Meaning that, if your are just friends with benefits and he get's a new girlfriend, you can't get mad because you two are just friends and also, he can be with her and have sex with you too...whenever he feels like it. Take my advice... just be friends. The benefits will complicate things. I've been through this before.

Friends with benefits don't make me laugh. You said you still have feelings for him. If you do this you will get hurt. He will just be using you for when he can't be with someone else. You should tell him to buzz off, find some other sucker to fool!!!!

that not friendship that's something else... it makes you cheap and makes you look like a toy to pass the moment... in other word it makes you a whore who doesn't need to be paid...
If he would like to be would you again he should court you again if not it would be like the last time this time he will leave you...

I have done that before because i liked him alot. guess what happened he doesn't talk to me anymore because he found himself another girlfriend and so i was history. don't let him use you. he is using your feelings for him for his own benefit. trust me. you will get hurt even more in the end.
