Here's my basic cake mix cookie recipe. What I like best about it is that it is really versatile, based on what kind of cake mix you use. I've even used carrot, lemon, and banana cake mix with good results. I'd also suggest with chocolate cake mix adding peanut butter chips - yummy!

Ingredients for Basic Cookies
1 box 2-layer cake mix
2 eggs
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Ingredients for variations: substitute and add as below:
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Spoon drop onto cookie sheet prepared with cooking spray.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F. for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on a wire rack.
Variations
White Cake Mix - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. They taste like snickerdoodles.
Spice Cake Mix - Add raisins.
Yellow Cake Mix - 1 cup chocolate chips, nuts or raisins.
Cherry Chip Cake Mix - 1 cup chocolate chips
Chocolate Cake Mix - 1 cup chocolate chips, nuts or raisins.
