The best way to color gray hair is to use a semi-permanent color, put a plastic cap on, sit under a hooded dryer for about15-20 min with the dryer "On Medium". Other types of color tend to damage gray too bad leading to hair loss b/c gray hair is very fragile. Make sure you check the base color of the dye to prevent your gray hair from turning blue. And use Shimmer Lite Shampoo

Take black tea and massage it on the roots of the hair. Leave it on the hair for an hour and then wash it away. This will coat the hair strand, hide the gray color..More cheap and natural remedies for gray or white hair at the link below.
