You Should stretch first before running, to minimize pain after running. And then, raise your leg/elevate your legs, with back flat on floor for some time.

Ideally, you should prevent leg pain by not pushing yourself too hard. If you have already got leg pain, try to soak in a hot bath on an off for the first twenty-four hours after the pain starts. After that time-frame, try taking a warm shower. Some people get good results by lying down and elevating their legs about ten inches higher than their body. As always, you should drink lots of fluids especially water.
