Hi 6000,
Yes they can. They are one in that they are of the same intent as to our progression. They are separate and distinct beings. They each have the ability to think and while they have the ability to disagree, they both have knowledge of truth at a level that on those things that we are aware and learning there is no need to disagree. Hence they are one.
Love ya,

No they can not. The Father the son and the holy spirit do everything according to the word of God. The bible says that in the begining the word was with God and the word WAS god. The Bible also says that the word was made flesh thats what Jesus is he is the word made flesh or "God in the flesh". The bible also says that its words are spirit. I suggest you pray that question out but look into the word for direction.

No, Jesus and God cannot have a difference in opinion, because they are one and separate at the same time.

They aren't one. They are two. God the Father, Jesus the son. Who was Jesus talking to when he spoke to his father in heaven? Himself?

They do hold differing opinions. God felt that Jesus (pbuh) needed to die. Jesus felt that he was supposed to live.

Apparently: "O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt," and etc.
That pretty clearly implies two potentially opposing "wills."
Leave it to the theologians to explain how these personalities are reconciled for the sake of maintaining Christianity's "monotheism." It sounds like mere confusion of thought to me.

A conversation between them would be funny!
Just imagine. How would a conversation go if both people knew exactly what the other was going to say exactly when they were going to say it? I can't even reproduce it here!

Sure, God can omnipotently do anything he wants. Create floods, wipe out populations, etc
Oh, but wait, why do we still have sickness, poorness, religious wars????
Evidently he can't!!
