Really depends on the application and the grade of each but I would have to say no. Particle wood tends to fall apart with any type of moisture if unprotected, and plywood might rot over time if not treated but would be better off. For strength again I would say the plywood.

It depends on what you are using them for. Plywood is for structural applications; subfloors and roof decks. Particle board is good for underlayment beneath sheet vinyl flooring or ceramic tile on the floor.

plywood is sturdier and will last longer than prticle board. particle board warps easy and depending on what you use it for tend to crap out if moved around to much. plywood is the way to go.

Use Plywood, it is solid wood. Partical board is just pieces of wood that is pressed together
