my uncle always smoking near me,wat should i do?

everytime he picks me up from course.he always smoking in da car 'n i like 2 close my nose(hard 2 breath)..
I read in a science book it's not good 4 people who breath near the smoke.it will influence ur lungs..

I live in my uncle 's house.he adopt me as his child.he and his wife don't have a children.

I don't dear 2 say 2 him.he always opens da window but i still can sniff it..

even her wife can't handle his addiction wit cig...

I would tell your uncle that you don't appreicate him smoking while you are around. If he doesn't quit smoking around you, then quit riding with him.

Taking a couple short ride in a car a week with a smoker over a short period will probably have no long term effects.

But if you don't like it, Ask if he will open the windows, or maybe see if you can catch a ride with someone else if it still bothers you, or just ask him not to smoke when he's driving you.

To be polite, if he agrees not to smoke, on long trips don't complain if he pulls over for a smoke break, or if when he picks you up he makes you wait until he finished his smoke.

I understand your respect for him in all. But you can say uncle it's hard for me to breath when your smoking in the car when am in it. I stop doing that when I have my child in the car. He's nine. He told me "mom am going to get Asama" I didn't know what he meant. I told him" boy I don't you can get Asama, I think you have to be born with it" He said; " No it's your smoking that's going to give me Asama" I would of never known he was so strongly against me smoking in my car while he was in it. I didn't know he felt that way. Of course I smoke me a cig. before I pick him up after school now. So you never know you just have to see. After all I think he's going to bite your head off. He might understand.

if you are in a good vrelationship with your uncle and his wife and do not have the guts to tell him frankly go to the wife and tell her the story in a decent way so she will resolve the problem
