You'll find it very difficult to find anyone who will even come close to getting your money back. When you buy a dog, you have to assume the cost is a total loss from the day you shell out.
Sadly, it's obvious you didn't get him from a reputable breeder, or there would have been a contract you signed to agree to take the dog back to them if there were any reason you could not keep him.
Pets require responsibility of ownership. You should have researched this particular breed BEFORE getting one. I have a Doxie... quite a handful to own, but I would not trade that unconditional love and loyalty for the world. Sadly, too many get a dog without knowing what exactly they are getting into and this is why there are so many in shelter and rescue.
Forget the money, it's just a loss. For much less, most people can get a limited registered AKC puppy from a good breeder. Do what's right for the dog and contact a local Dachshund rescue group to see if they are willing to help you place him in a good home. You may be tired of the dog and not want the responsibility of a pet any longer, but your dog deserves at least this much. It's not his fault you're done with it.

Why is he driving you crazy? I would show more sympathy for your plight had you said things along the lines of... I got this dog for alot of money and I just cant train it or keep it, how do i find it a home.
Instead you want to sell him and "get rid" of him. No one is going to by that old of a dog, second hand, for alot of money, but you may find a idiot, theres a sucker born every day, so in like a previous post someones neighbor bought a jack-a-poo mutt for 1200$, so put an add in the paper.
The dog obviously has some problems or you just didnt know the first thing about owning a dog, so either way the dog needs a knowledgeable owner for it to become normal again. If yo come down on the price and sell this purbred Dachshund for a reasonable price, you are looking for someone who probably wont care much, a backyard breed, or a puppymill owner that will buy this tempermental dog off your hands and in turn produce more bad quality hard to handle puppies. Best to cut your loss, turn it into a shelter or rescue, and learn from the experiance. Next time be more careful in choice of pet or dog, and maybe buy one from a shelter for 100$ with a garuntee the dog can go back if it "Drive you Crazy".

Dachshunds are very social dogs and have special needs when it comes to training. Every dog book about them has this information. They need TRAINING... They need PATIENCE. I don't think you are abusing your dog, however, I would strongly suspect that your growing impatience has a lot to do with the potty accidents lately.
Buying a dog is a commitment like having a child. You train them not just cast them aside when they become inconvenient. You should have researched the breed prior to spending the money you mention.
I have two dachshunds and they are wonderful. I couldn't imagine life without them. They are a part of the family.

Edited to add:
To quote you: "yeh Boe Boe I never said I couldnt take care of the dog I DON'T WANT TO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE IS A DIFFERANCE!"
This shows a significant lack of maturity and I hope you do not treat the dog the way you respond to the honest answers you are receiving here. You don't want to??? Then why did you get the dog in the first place? You had no clue that they are a living creature that deserves to have a happy life?
Do the dog a favor... Contact a Dachshund Rescue place today and have them take the dog. It breaks my heart to think that you are taking out your moods and impatience on this poor dog. And never get another pet. They aren't disposable.
Here are websites that rescue dachshunds in need, as yours clearly is:

What did you think? When you paid your money, they came all perfectly trained and everything? And what makes you think that someone wants to buy your problem off of you?
A dog is only as good as it's owner, and your poor guy got a doozy in you.
And you want to just sell him to someone in the paper, to a stranger that might hurt or mistreat him?
Poor dog.
Call the breeder. If you paid that much for him and it was a reputable breeder, you might get lucky and that person will take him back from you to keep him from going into another bad home. But don't expect it to be a money-making thing. Maybe you'll get some of your money back, maybe you won't.
And next time, get a pet rock. Then you can just throw it away when you are bored with it and it won't matter.

Cut your losses and be sure the dog gets a good home. He shouldn't have to suffer because you weren't smart enough to do your research before buying a dog.
So you've realized you just aren't an animal person. I understand you want to make your money back - $700 is a lot of money to lose without a return in the investment (companionship of your dog). I think you should chaulk this up to an expensive lesson. Be sure the dog goes to a good home and is well cared for. I'm sure there is a local animal shelter you can take him to where he will be adopted out. If you do go the shelter route, please be sure that you take him to a no kill shelter. Try posting an ad in the local paper, talk to friends and family. Good luck to your dog.

I must agree with Artanis. I'm not sure why this dog is "driving you crazy", but I can guess it's because you didn't know what you were getting into with the breed, and you aren't willing to train him.
If you bought him from a responsible breeder, they should be willing to take him back. Have you explored that possibility?
If you have (and you didn't buy him from a responsible breeder), neuter him and place him in a FOREVER home at a reasonable price. He's not a couch or a piece of furniture that you can "recoup your investment on", he's a living thing and deserves to be owned by someone who will train him and love him -- this is more important, I'm afraid, than whether or not you make your money back.

Contact a rescue organization that can find a good home for him, or if you got him from a breeder, contact them - They'll take him back, but they're not going to give you any money for him, they'll just make sure he gets a good home.
You'll never get your $700 back, consider it an expensive way to learn that a dog is a HUGE responsibility.

Sorry, there's not much of a market for used dogs. Once you buy them as a puppy, you really can't get your money back out of them. Take a look on petfinder.com and see how many dogs, including pure bred dogs, are looking for homes. You'd be best off to contact your local dachshund rescue who can find a good, experienced home for the dog.

this is why we always say "go to a reputable breeder" if you did,, just call the breeder,, they will take him back and find him a home.... if you didn't,,, oh well... have you tried obedience school,,, or are you just giving up?? dogs are like children,, it takes a lot of committment and patience to raise one properly,,, plus,, your dog is probably at the "teenager stage" they all drive you nuts around 6months to 1 1/2 get to Obedience school and don't be a quitter
