You got it.
Pull the credentials send the Driver, all the crew, the owner and the car home.
Suspending 1 or 2 is not working, fines are laughted at,and taking away points are not doing much.
But send the full team home a time or two and something will get done.

In an article I read today on NASCAR.com Brian France addressed this issue, saying that they want to grab this situation by the horns and not overreact, which in this case means sending the drivers home, yet if it gets continuosly out of control then their might be drivers getting sent home, and I think that the only reason Riggs, Sadler, Kenseth, and Kahne got docked points is because their were so many of them cheating at this given race and their infractions of the rules were alot different then Johnson's were last year. Everyone is saying Johnson didnt lose points but he also didnt have this type of infraction like the others did, and I think that this should get everyone's attention saying that NASCAR is serious about cheating, and also in the article their was a comment about cheating has been going on forever and it will always be here but they are trying harder to make everything fair, and I think their going in the somewhat right direction.

As of right now, NASCAR is slowly making the punishments tougher, so that at some point it wont be just a slap on the wrist if the teams keep cheating.
Sending the team home will definitely do it, but NASCAR wants to just get it to the lowest point where there is no more cheating, so they don't make it too hard, yet.

I agree with your rule... but I would have to say there has to be different stages of cheating... if the "tape blows off of the holes inside the car" and it could have been accidental then I think you have to take the accidental part into consideration... If you put something extra into your engine like Mikey might have... then yes send them home!
Here is my thing... Nascar is so far into the technology stuff, why are we just placing tape over holes??? I mean come on! Put something else over the holes...
I do agree if you do something serious like Mikey may have done, send them home... If you just have a mushy spring (that could have just collapsed during the race) then thats kind of iffy also... But sending them home would be a good way to stop the cheating...

The big dogs of NASCAR aren't doing enough to stop the cheating. Their punishments are more of a slap on the wrist rather than being a hard slap across the cheek.

i think everyone needs to stop whining about this because no matter what sport you watch there is some sort of cheating in it football baseball nascar hockey basketball and so on.
how come when a driver taps or bumps anther car no one makes a big deal out of it but that is against the rules and is cheating but because of all this crap with the cars it is a huge deal and everyone whines about it.

u r never going to stop cheating because of competition. i think its because everyone wants a upper edge. the only thing u could do would suspend the driver and say you cant race for so many races. money is nothing to them

One glaring problem with that: sponsors. They foot the bill for most of NASCAR. I don't see NAPA, Lowe's, DeWalt, and Dodge taking too kindly to NASCAR taking away their exposure.
Besides, taking drivers out of the race ticks off fans, and NASCAR has worked too long and too hard to give any of them up.
