I have a 8 megapixel digital camera that takes video, I'll be using that to film. I need to be able to splice graphics, film and sound together. Any tips, software recs and ideas would be appreciated.
Oh, and does anyone know where I can get good quality clips of commercials, fashion shows, tv shows etc that i could get into it as well?
And how would I do that?
10 to the best answer.
Thanks!

I use VideoWave 7 and have been using it since VideoWave III. It is easy to make effects and add music. It costs about $80.00

Check and see if your digital camera shoots .MOV or Mpeg format... it will make a difference getting it to film and file on a CD.

More software is Mpeg compliant than MOV. Be careful what you get.

final cut pro, adobe premiere, avid, edius, sony vegas are the softwares you can use for editing. then if u want to make dvd's u need adobe encore, dvd studio pro. if u want it on film u need to go to some film processing lab its costly. and u have to buy royalty free clips.
