They are really trying to get attention and a one up from one another. Haven't you that they are like boys. Some more immature than others. It really probably has nothing to do with the women - just they impression that they are trying to make with one another.

Men don't "always" do anything. The men that do behave as you describe are just trying to be macho in front of their buddies or co-workers. It's meaningless really.

dont worry girl it either means shes hot cause theyl all pretend like shes notin to impress the other guys but deep down inside they are dying to have her. or shes somewhat different(remember not everyone can like you) or they are just trying to bring an okay girl down
