A restraining order you mean? I believe it's the same thing as a restriction order. Yes you can get a restraining order against your sibling if you feel threated by them in any way. I don't think you need to prove that your life is in danger or anything. All you have to do is go to your police station and ask them the process for filing a restriction order against him/her.
