Hi all,
I have worked with the US army in Iraq for more than 12 months as a translator. How can I obtain a recommendation letter from Flag Officer or General for immigration purpose ? If you have any helpful hints , please let me know , thanks .

Your terp manager for the unit should be able to help. I have written quite a few from me and my commander. I'm the terp manager for our unit. I'm sure you could get one from the DIV CDR, too.

This may not be the best place to ask such an answer, cause the people answering are the general public and thus known not for knowing much.
If there is a local US embassy, maybe you should call them up and ask. I thank you for serving with us for you are making a bigger sacrifce then the US troops.
