My friend changes the tags on clothes in the dressing room and put on lower priced ones so basically for a 25.00 shirt, she gets it for 6.00...I am so worried she will get caught!!! she is a good person otherwise. I thought they have cameras in the dressing room?

i would think its illegal to have cameras in the dressing room while you are changing but i want to save her

Not sure what your question is -- it is quite possible that she will get caught, either by camera or a sales clerk noticing what she is doing, knowing the true cost of a garment, etc. If she does, it is theft the same as shoplifting, and it won;t be a good thing for her.
If you are with her, and know she is doing it, you could get in trouble too.

That's deceptive practices---theft by deception. Yes, some companies have cameras in the dressing room...and yeah, you'd get busted with her as an accessory so I'd stop hanging with her.

Yes it is illegal, and no there are not cameras in dressing rooms it is an invasion of privacy.

she needs to get caught in order for her to realize what shes doing is wrong...either turn her in or dont go with her....you could be charged as an accomplice...
