Well, I don't believe in that b.s about "Once a cheater always a cheater". If it were not possible for people to change, then everyone in prison would be locked up for life, due to the fact that if they got out, they would most definitely commit the same crime. Just learn from your mistake and realize that whether you choose to be a faithful person or not, is up to you completely. Cheating is not an illness or disease, unless you're a nympho or something. Do you want to be faithful or do you not? It's up to you. I would advise you to stay single if you still want to mingle, and when you really feel that you're physically and mentally able to maintain a commited relationship, then by all means, do that. Take care and know that God is love.

Ha, the guilt will consume you I've seen it before plenty of time you have to ask forgiveness, then leave your bf the relationship is tainted. If you do keep up this behavior for the rest of your life you will be miserable, the good news is you've only done it once I've seen a lot worse but what you did is a very terrible thing and there is no nice way to say this but it is one of the lowest forms of deceit that i know of. Seeing as you are human though are given the chance to make things right, if you do, that guilt will go away, you can clear your conscious and write it off as a "Don't ever do it again" good luck to you. This doesn't make you a bad person (yet) but if you keep doing it you'll just ride the spiral down. even if he says he forgives you and he will get over it, the pain never really goes away atleast it didn't for me

Well the more you cheat, the easier it gets to do it. Once you've cheated and see that you got away with it you just keep wanting to do it more and soon you'll be able to justify it in your head. So to you you're not doing anything wrong but actually you are. You just don't see it that way. So you need to put a stop to it now before it gets too late and you become a cheating machine.

It means you think you got away with it. Maybe you did, maybe you didn't.
Only YOU can decide if you do it again.
Why not just break up and start fresh instead of playing nasty head games on people?
You are a jerk. You should tell your partner and give her the opportunity to dump you or forgive you.
Here's a thought- why not just act like a good person in future?

its no more than lying, you get away with it, it will subconsciously tell you how easy and quick it is to do it again.
you know the saying "a thief is always a thief"?

that goes for lying, cheating, stealing, anything that is wrong, because there is always that slight thrill of having a compulsion to do something wrong in a society that has rules against it.
"it is so much fun to break it and get away with it."

perhaps the door will stay open or not, thats up to you.

Maybe. If the one you cheated on finds out and gives you another chance, you probably will. It would be up to you and how weak you are.

depends if you want to. I think access is the main reason you cheat. if you still have acces to the person you cheated with you will probably cheat again.

Yes. You are a terrible person. Your significant other trusts you and you broke that trust. You should end the relationship rather than lie to yourself and everyone you love. On Valentines day nonetheless... You are horrible.

Yes, but once you get dumped (on Valentine's Day, I hope) you won't be cheating anymore. But you'll still be pathetic.
