I used to paintings at a elegance save and there's a straightner that actual has extra acceptable comments than the chi. Its H20 flat iron or some thing... i'm able to't remember the call. yet to tell you the fact... I actual have very thick of course right away hair... and it nevertheless gets frizzy while i circulate exterior for a protracted era or circulate out and get warm. besides the indisputable fact that the chi does save the hair straighter than time-honored straightners, I actual have one and it works nicely and does the activity truly rapid. Too save my hair much less frizzy... i exploit Serum's. My sought after Serum is Paul mitchell, charles worthington is stable too, besides as frizz eaze. you do no longer would desire to get genuine high priced serums... the all paintings related to the comparable. you may start with a small bottle in case you have by no ability used serum. do no longer placed it on your roots, purely the decrease sections. then flat iron it. I additionally discover it much less annoying to regulate while blow drying it, in the previous flat ironing is to no longer placed something in it. I constantly experience that it is so plenty extra durable to blow dry. stable success. i'd say approximately 2 hours that is going to stay frizz loose.

I have a sedu flat iron. I'm mostly black and native american (little bit of french) and it works really well. It cost I believe $125. My bestfriend is asian and she recommended it to me. My hair length is to the bottom of my shoulder blades and very prone to damage, but the sedu doesnt tear my hair out, or get caught in corners. It's ionic, and reaches 450 degrees--i think...i dont have to use it that high--i'm on 280. To get the best straightened hair you should use Biosilk. You'll love the results. But trust me, the sedu is the best. Even though I have black in me my hair resembles more of the Native American side, so I think this should work for you, and not fry your hair to hell.

Solia makes a Tourmaline Ceramic Ionic Flat Iron.
According to the Solia flat iron website, "tourmaline,
a precious stone, is used to generate up to 6 times more
negative ions than traditional ceramic irons".( $75/85)

To make sure that you don't hurt your hair it is absolutely necessary that you put a "smoothing" product in your hair first as it creates a "buffer" to the heat.
Several that my hairdresser has recommended and used on my hair are:
Redken Satinwear 02
Matrix sleek.look Extreme styling creme
Special Effect Instant Straighten Out
Any product similar to these will work. Make sure you do not put it on the roots as it will cause the hair to become oily.
The Conair Infinity straightener is very good. http://store.darisimall.com/947127.html

Firstly just want to say that all heating things all damage your hair. Even just hairdriers but if you keep the use of it down and use heat protection you should be ok.
The straighteners i would defintely recommend are GHDs. They glide easilt through your hair, get extremely how and also the straighness lasts all through the day.
Also becuase the plates on mine are quite small you can also curl your hair with them and create all sorst of different styles for when you get bored with poker straight.

pretty much anything that has *ceramic plates* is *wide* and has *multiple heat settings*
I can't think of the name of mine at the moment but the best thign to do is get one from a hair salon not from walmart or shoppers drug mart!
PS - If you are concerned about hurtin gyour hair...when your flat iron had heated squeeze a piece of toilet paper in it...if it leaves yellow it is too hot and WILL HURT YOUR HAIR.:)
(sorry I couldn't give you a specific brand/name)
