explain to her that you didn't start the rumor about the two of you being together, and that you definitely don't think that that's true. then tell her: "i feel if the circumstances were right we might just hit it off and im willing to try to salvage that opportunity", and see what she says. if she passes, she's a ***** anyway. good luck!

I have this situation with a certain girl who i was going to go out with. It was great until the plans got cancelled. I thought she was ditching me but i really felt angry that she was indifferent about it. She was speaking with my friend calling me insecure and saying how thats a turn off and saying she doesnt know the reason why she wants to go out with me. Later on just to make matters worse gossip gets to her saying that we are together (which i obviously dont think by the way) and she says to my friend she cant take my drama . Im obviously losing interest in her fast as well because i believe in trust and talking bad behind my back might not fit in that category. lol. Anyways, i feel if the circumstances were right we might just hit it off and im willing to try to salvage that opportunity. msn chatting is basically our only conversation lol just because she doesnt have a phone anymore. I'm really trying to show her im a nice guy who is not cliggy/ insecure or a drama distraction.

It sounds like a bunch of DRAMA to me.
If I were you I would just forget about her. You should not have to convince anyone that you are or are not a certain way. It is just evident and if she has already marked you as being a certain way nothing you do will change her mind. So I'll just blow her off and go meet someone new.

um, for one you never actually posed a question. just so you know...but what I think at this point is things happen for a reason, the circumstances have changed perhaps because once you actually start dating this girl, you'd quickly learn you shouldn't have. there are huge signs all around us if we would just open our eyes to them, you can try to salvage what is there but in your best interest I would simply move on. it's both you and her...not you alone.

Alright, this is what I would do, I'll go and get me another chick and will start flirtting and making outw/her infront of this girl and then try to ignore her for about a week. Dude this will work, she is going to desire you for a long time.

I would move on. It sounds like maybe she's the one with the drama.

Just apologize for being angry.
And suggest to her that you both should start all over. I won't do this immediately. I will wait 2 weeks.
Yeah, Love SUCKS!

Dude- this is waaaay too much drama for one non-date.
Let go of it and move on. And don't tell your friends stuff you don't want getting around.
