You should stick with your own kind, that works out best for everyone. Most white guys don't like black females anyway.

I think that you should sit down and talk to him. I don't know your age, but I am 23, a single mother, and living on my own, and I recently found myself head over heels for a black guy (I am white), and my mother has BIG ISSUES with it. However, I just told her that it's my choice, and I have the right to decide who I want to be with. The rest of my family will freak out too, when they find out, but I can't help who my heart loves. I say follow your heart, just because he isn't the same color as you doesn't mean he's not your soulmate.

I'm a black man and i don't like to see black women with white men. long story. anyway, i can not fault u for liking who u like as long as u would be WILLING to date a black guy if he came at u correctly. if u would not date a black guy under ANY circumstances, i think u really need help to figure out why it is u view white guys as better options for love? is it a longing to be white? is it because u aren't exposed socially to black guys? i think u should talk to your dad. maybe u can tell him why a man like him would never be good enough for u. that would be a great conversation.

You seem to be very young... I think best bet is to tell your parents that you like white guys & then when you get a white bf, you tell your dad about why you picked him (what you liked in him, i.e. intelligent or good guy etc.)... your dad will blast you at first, but once your bf and your dad get to know one another it'll be all cool. Trust me =)

tell your dad how you feel about white guys and if he wants to meet them. Go ahead. but racism is not what we like to hear. we are all made egual in this world . we may be attrectiue to white black er any other color but doesn't mean that we have to go with our race. I say go for it. and see what your parents say. and ask them why you can't and euerything

Drop hints and little things to make him think you're gay
Let him stew and worry about that for a month - then tell him you're dating a white guy. He'll be so relieved he'll get used to the white part

He will simply need to accept you for who you are. Is he racist or something? My parents never could get over the fact I only dated hispanics (I am white) and finally after like 5 years they learned to accept it and not talk crap to me anymore.

We don't choose who we are attracted to, only what we do when we feel that attraction.
Why not find out how your dad feels prior to telling him. Get into a conversation about interractial dating and if he seems kewl with it then you're good to go...if not, talk to him about why he's not and see if you can make a good case to him about why you do think it's okay, and then tell him that you've found yourself attracted to guys outside your race and you want it to be okay with him since he's your dad.
