For some reason I just dont know why, but my bf and I always have problems when a special day is coming up. This is the 2nd time this had happened between us. (And it's always becasue of his ex.) Why is this happening?

Second timem and u r already worring? BEsides u gotta give more detail as to what is happenind, maybe u over react, maybe he is a douche, maybe its somehting that needs better advice but needs more detail. Second time shouldnt worry u so much...

Sorry to tell you this but if it is because of his ex then he must still be in love with her or at least he still cares about her. But dont let your mans ex mess up your special days. But just ask him if he still cares or loves her and if he admitts to you that he still does than sweety you have to let him go cuz as long as he still cares or loves his ex than thats going to hold your guy's relationship back.

I think it all depends on the situation, and what exactly is going on with his ex. You didnt give a lot of info. Is she just calling? or badgering him during these times? Are they still friends? If they are still friends, and something is going downhill during these special occasions, than there is a high possibility he is still into her. If she is the one hounding him, than she is not over him, and it all depends on his reaction to her. If he is pissed, and ignores it. than you are fine. if its eating him up, he is guilty. If you think its just her badgering him, have him tell her to stop calling, or you pick up the phone and tell her to stop calling. In any situation, and Ex should not be ruining your day. so be more vocal to him about it.

Stress....its common to be a little more on edge during these times....and that ex of his is probably doing it on purpose...Just try and keep things peaceful..at least till after you get your valentine's day gift :) lol!!!! Good luck!!

Like im not sayin this to be mean but it might be because he not yet over his ex and if his ex is messing things up for yall then you need to forget him b.c if he;s still not over his ex then he needs to get over her then he can have you. but not until he gets over his ex. believe me if you continue to let him think about his ex and let it ruin your realationshi[ then it will only hurt you in the long run!!!

it might be an excuse for him not to get you anything or that maybe he just wants his ex back!!!!!
maybe he dosent want you and he wants her back
