That is like saying that Mother's Day is discrimination against women with no children.
You make it what you want. I am in a relationship, but I find more joy in giving out little cards and candy to friends and co-workers than I do celebrating with my boyfriend. I think it's a cutesy holiday...not one that you need to celebrate by spending thousands on dinner and diamonds--not that I would turn that down. ha ha

no, that's like saying St. Patricks day is discrimination against non-Irish people.
Singles can use it as an excuse to try and pick up the opposite sex so it can actually be better for singles.

Doesn't have to be. I used to hate it in my single days until I started trying to make it nice for other people. I'd buy roses for my female co-workers, take out 2 or 3 single female friends, things like that. It made it much more pleasant.
If that's really your picture, I'd be amazed if you're asking this because you are single!

Sigh, no. I mean just because your single doesn't mean you can't send a card to your Mom and Dad, and say I love you. Valentines day, is a day about all love.

I guess it depends on your point of view. Valentine's Day could be a way for singles to become couples. You know, will you be my Valentine? If you say yes, then maybe we could attain couple status. ♥♥♥♥

Sometimes it's an oppurtunity for singles to get someone special, but being single myself this year I can see how it can be discrimination...
