I'm your standard fella - no idea how to cook meals, usually I eat take away once a day for lunch then starve til next lunch. When I search the web for 'simple cooking' ideas I get 'advanced cordon bleu' or so it seems to me. I've lost a lot of weight the past few years (didn't need to) and i have to start eating better. Can anyone suggest something that even the worst male cook can make and eat without poisoning himself too badly

Pork Chops.
Fix a box of Chicken flavored (trust me) Stove Top Stuffing (box+hot water+butter). Pile on top of your pork chops. Bake 350 degrees for 50 minutes. YUMMY! Salt and pepper your pork chops on both sides before putting stove top on top. Eat with a can of green beans mixed with a can of potatoes.

Rachael Ray's site has simple 30 minute meals. The magazine Quick Cooking is a very simple recipe magazine.

Pasta sounds like about the simplest thing you could make. Boil pasta, heat up some sauce and toss together. Pesto is good with ravioli.

Good luck, you've got it in you to cook!

find a good women:)..

Basic cooking is really simple. If your on good terms with your mum, ask her for a few pointers or even a friend( works well if there is a girl you like and she can cook)
Get a good basic cookbook like the CIA'S pro chef. It has all the basics for making simple dishes to the fancy stuff( i am a CIA grad..oj CIA is short for CULINARY INSTITUTE OF AMERICA)

most book stores have cheap cook books that focus on starter cooks. The Guy Can't cook is a good one.

another good thing is the back of soup cans. I am a fan of the ranchero soup with ground beef and taco fixins.
you can always email with questions. I taught my da to cook.
