you know when you hear people say things without thinking first, or they vent out frustration and anger towards the only people that they care about?
you had a a great date, thats wonderful.
he sounds like a great guy which included the call to make sure you got home safe, thats a rare thing for a guy to ask.
dont take it personal on the phone call, perhaps he got home and found something that got him in the mood and it wasnt a good time to speak with him.
dont call him back, let him call you, give him time to cool off.
if he calls you back and apologizes, what a great guy!
if he doesnt call you back in over 2 days, then either he isnt cooled off yet or too busy to remember that he wronged you for no reason w/ that phone call.
you can try to call him after 2 days and see how he is doing, not mentioning about that phone call, and see if he says anything.

First of all, how much do you REALLY know about this guy, and how did you MEET him? If you met him through friends, or some dating Internet service, that could be significant as to his credibility. Also, It is concerning, when you say "he always asks me to call him , so that he knows you made it home safe", If I were you , I would pose the question to him "WHATS UP WITH THAT? A man who is generally concerned, or cares for a woman, Makes sure that, THEY ACCOMPANY THE WOMAN HOME SAFELY! On some level, I would like to believe that chivalry is still alive and well!...................BTW, He sounded preoccupied when you called him???????

Because he's working both sides of the fence and was with another woman when you called. Worse yet, he's probably bi-sexual but more than likely he could have been tired or just wanted some space after spending time with you. Or perhaps you're at that moment in the relationship where he doesn't need nor want to give the constant coddling.

im not sure, maybe he was with his guy friends, you know how they can be when they get around the boys. Or maybe he was just having a bad day, did you ask him if anything was wrong when he called back? Get his side of the story

Next time let him do the calling. I know people are more open these days but just wait and see if he calls you. If he doesn't, I wouldn't call him. I can't imagine?

Well it kind of sounds like he might be two-timing you, guys can be good at that...Im not sure. You should really try to find out if this guy is seeing other girls besides you. Like when he talks to you, is he sweet, does he call you sweet names, like baby, or sweetie, or honey...etc. Thats the only reason I can think of, he might just be a bad...phone person...but probably not.

Maybe he was half asleep or something, or maybe he got all worked up and was unhappy that the date ended type of thing, if you know what I mean...don't read too much into it, I am convinced guys have PMS too...they can be moody just like us...don't worry till you have a reason to...good luck.

He could have been tired, a little ill, or had something on his mind. Give him a break this time.
