Is it JR's time to ascend to the throne? Personally, JR should have left DEI last season. He's got the clout and financial backing to go on his own..........

junior is too young to be a car owner,if he wants his own team he should build it with his own money like his dad and teresa did,yes teresa helped build the dei empire while junior was in diapers, she slept in motel rooms on the road, not million dollar motor homes,if dale sr was still alive jr wouldn't get to own that team until he was 50,and if you don't think so you just didn't know the intimidator, junior is a spoiled, self centered little brat who wants to steal the company away from the people who worked for it,he was given the best name, the best cars and the best lifestyle in nascar, when gordon came up and sr watched somebody else win every week he didn't quit rcr,he stuck with people who made him who he was,if junior deserves anything he should be allowed to pick his personell and parts and programs, thats a team managers job and thats what brings champions, what i see here is family fighting over the family fortune,jr had as much to do with dei's sucess as the janitor did if he wants the championship he needs to find the right set up for the car,if he wants to own his own team he should buy it just like his dad did,his dad was a loyal driver who was probabally never going to drive for the team he owned no matter how good it became,he would have stayed with rcr for the rest of his career even if it meant never winning again,sr was an old time guy with old time morals and he's rolling over in his grave right now listening to his son and wife,

Yes, it does bum me out, but I had a feeling earlier this yr this would happen. But I'm hoping by the time Dale Jr's contract is up at HMS,hopefully there will still be a DEI left, and Ganassi part of DEI leaves and Teresa wakes up and gives DEI back to the 4 children that Dale Sr wanted, and Dale Jr will hop back in the #8 and hopefully it will be a red bud #8, and it will be a perfect world again. Only time will tell, its gonna be weird seeing no #8 this weekend in Phx. Its sad it all had to come to this somehow I'm sure Teresa is blaming Dale Jr for this happening. I just hope Truex Jr and Juan Pablo can do something for EGR, and help save the team, so maybe someday we can see DEI come back with proper ownership The Earnhardt Children running the show. Go Dale Jr & Hms

Yes Yes. I am the biggest Junior fan of all. I have a family of Jeff gordon fans. I think Teresa needs to give the company to Jr and let him have it to control and spend all the money due to the fact he is the biological son of the the Sr. Yes Jr should have left DEI last season and start his own company.

It was a proven fact and it was just recently on fox news that dale sr left 99% of everything to his 4 kids. one of the kids did not want dei so teresa took her share.
yes she should step down becuase she is going to lose the person that brings in the most money for the company.
NO i am not a jr fan but out of all the drivers dei has jr is the most popular.

Yes it is Jr's time. T should step down. Jr's matured a lot in the past couple years and he should take over if that is what he wants to do.

Teresa should never have been CEO. she should hand over 100% ownership to Jr. and his siblings, not sell but hand over and then Jr. should retire her with a 6 digit salary and a nice house somewhere in oregon or NW california.

she will drive DEI straight into the infield wall as long as she is at the helm.

If Junior doesn't get at least a 50% interest he will likely go to another team. If Junior leaves DEI, the company has no place to go except DOWN. I think that it is in Teresa's bet interest, and the interest of DEI to take Junior seriously, very very seriously.

In a perfect world yes, she should step down. However JR wouldn't have time! He wants to race, not worry about paperwork. Also he's got JR motorsports going in the Busch series...He's just not ready to sit at a desk yet.

Yes it is. The company was meant for Dale Jr., Kelly, & Kerry. She has no right to keep them from it; besides she's disrespecting the wishes of Dale Sr. by not giving them control. I don't know that I agree that Jr. deserves 51%, but considering he is the better of the two still racing, I guess it would be ok. (funny thing is, Kelly was better than both; she decided to hang it up after she had kids.)
