Hello, I have used a free program called filecroc to access the ARES Network. It is only as fast as the number of users who are on it, and are sharing files. As for safe? No P2P network can be called safe, since it is the fastest means for spreading malicious codes and viruses. Just be sure to read the comments about the download before you choose to download. Most of them do not work anyway, and that is where you will find out if it is a good or bad copy. Hope this helps
