Sure it's a great thing to do, that is what friends are for, to be there when no one else is around.
You guys have fun and happy valentine to you both. She's a lucky girl to have a friend like you.

Take care xx

I think this is a sweet idea and that you should do it. After all, friends do things together. It may help 'establish' the friendship that remains after the romantic attachment. I've remained friends with someone I dated about 6-7 months ago, initially thought things would be too awkward to remain friends, but it's turned out to be a postive thing. We still rely on each other for advice, home projects, etc. You don't want your ex-girlfriend to perceive that you're ashamed to be seen in public with her at this point, so I think it's an excellent idea to join her for a movie. It sounds like a cool idea if you both agree.

that depends on your feelings and hers as well. If you can handle going out with her on Valentines Day and so can she then great and if not then skip it. You and her I am guessing are both old enough to make your own decisions about what is right for the two of you. So why don't you talk to her and make this choice together? Good luck!

You can do whatever you want to but keep reminding yourself why you broke up in the first place.

I just ended things with my ex and we can barely talk to each other, yet remain on good terms.

If neither of you has another date, sure... making plans with friends is never a bad thing.

Make sure you're not infringing on anything she might have planned, just like always.

It’s ok to take her to the movies, you both are friends just don't be looking for something to happen, if it dose it might just be for that night.

Just be a friend, and take your friend out for a good evening.

I glad you could stay friends with her I don't see how same of you do it.

I bless those who can
