I'm going to be a little blunt, guys nor girls wants a partner who will openly sit around and pass gas all hours of the day. Its not attractive. Also you reach the point' when is comfortable, too comfortable.' I wouldn't say hold it in, if it happens, it does. Your body is just being natural, but I wouldn't make a big encore of it with farting contests or just casually letting them go to get a laugh out of it. Leave a little mystery. Thats my take on it.

The proper time comes when you feel it its the proper time, but I recommend during the wedding. Wait until your asked if you take her to be your wife and announce that you'll only do so if she/he allows you to flatulate in their face then and there.
