hi, i asked this question in polls and suvays a while ago...
i live with my two older brothers with my twin sistere...i llive with them because my ama and paang are both in rehab because they are both recovering meth adicts.
i like living with my brothers, most of the time, they are super cool and nice...but sometimes they are mean...they beat me and my twin with brooms, and rolling pins...i dont know what to do, i want to leave but i have no family in america...only in india and mexico...i dont know what to do...please help me...

If this is true, brothers or not, you report them. Now. Don't think about it. Do it. As a brother I can tell you that a brothers job is to protect your sister or sisters with your life if necessary. They should never raise their hands or any objects to you or your sister. EVER! They wouldn't do that if they were true brothers or true men for that matter. I speak for all brothers when I say I'd like to have 5 minutes alone with them. Go to the Authorities, Human Services, Child Protective Services, etc. If you don't know how to contact them, call the local police and they'll take it from there. Let us know what's happening with you!!!

Try looking up an accociation called "Haven" or a local church or school.
Haven is a place where they will take you in if you're being abused or feel like you need more help than what you're getting at home. Good luck, I hope you fare better in the future!

Call the police, what they are doing is illegal!!!! They will help you find a place to live that is safe and where you won't get beaten!! Or go to live with your family in the other countries, it's better than what you have at the moment.

They actually HIT you with a rolling pin and a broom? Call the police, hunny. This is called *Domestic Violence* and it is ILLEGAL!! It is illegal to HIT someone! Please do not put up with this crap any further!
Why do they hit you? WHY WHY WHY? Why would they think that it is ok to hit you? It is NOT right, hun!

Contact your local police department. Tell them what your brothers have been doing to you and your twin. They will more than likely take you out of that situation. Please talk to someone right away. Good Luck.

first thing that needs to be taken into consideration is your age. are you an adult ? (18+) if yes, get a job and make yourself independent and move out. if no, i would tell an adult that you trust like a teacher or couselor or even a religious figure.

The next time this happens, Tell your guidance counselor, or someone, and tell your brothers, that it is no reason why they should beat you like this. and if it happens again, you are going to tell someone!

find some part time job so that you can raise money to rent a room with your twin sister... good luck!

Looks like there are more in your immediate family that need rehab....call the authorities..!!!
