My purse was stolen from my bag yesterday...i managed to cancel all my creditcards but i lost my provisional license. How do i deal with this? I've tried ringing the DVLA but they say you don't need to report it missing/stolen.
So do i just reapply for a new provisional?
(bearing in mind its a provisional license and not an actuall driving license)

DVLA were on strike on Friday so maybe their system is playing up.. Ring them today and see what they say. Could I suggest you try and get some other form of ID for when you want to go out and get p!ssed and then tie it around your neck tightly. If you are not mature enough to be able to look after a bit of plastic do you really think you're ready to take to the roads of Britain

You should report it to the Police as your driving licence (provisional or not) is a form of ID and therefore you could be the victim of identity theft.
Then go to the post office and pic up a form to get a replacement licence. It will ask you on the form what happened to your old one, and if stolen it will ask if you reported it to the police.

Yes you need a new one but you can still drive without it,
A*seholes how does someone sleep at night after stealing someone elses stuff,

i believe that i you stil have your driver number you can still drive
