Have any of you had a 5 year old boys birthday at a Chuck E Cheese location in Ontario (or anywhere else)??
I want to book a party there for my sons birthday in March, and want to know how your party there went, if it was worth the $15.50 per kid...
let me know how it went, please!
Thanks!

I have had child birthday there but we thought too that the price was too much. So we just went early at Noon and got about 3 tables near the games and had some family sit in them. Then we ordered pizza and brought birthday cupcakes so we didnt have to bring plates/utensils etc. We had our own party and we didnt have to pay the high price of sitting in the main room at their reserved table. The bears scare some of the kids anyway. You could try that, I know many people do it that way.

He is telling you the truth!! 13 is a bit old to have a Chuck E. Cheese birthday party. My kid turned 13 last September. If he wants to invite some friends over, provide lots of water balloons. Sounds as childish as a Chuck E. Cheese party, but they will have a blast without any embarrassment. Just ask him to think about it and give you a couple of ideas. Give him a time limit (i.e., 3 hours, a day, 2 days). That's what works best with my teenager.

If the child loves going it'll be worth it, but if they aren't huge fans you'll be a little pissed. Collect coupons for extra tokens or tell parents that each child only receives a certain amount and once they are gone it's up to them. Make sure you let the kids know that too. Besides there are things there that don't require tokens at least there is here.

If you do go try to make it a weekday in the afternoon or early eve it will be less busy. It is a bit costly, but well worth it when you think about it, no mess at your house!
