If it is cheese - french bread, any vegetable cut in cubes (blanch hard veggies like carrots so they are easier to chew), Snow peas, eggplant and zucchini are a lovely taste surprise and very easy to cut and serve. If it is chocolate, try exotic fruits like Star fruit, Dragon fruit and Kiwi they are a lovely departure from the traditional strawberries also remember that angelfoodcake, marshmallows and sponge cake are just as decadent and a pleasant surprise as well. Have fun with the Fondue!

it might seem like overload, but we cut up snickers bars and dip them in chocolate. Cream puffs (the kind that come in the plastic tub) are amazing. Also, bananas and frozen cheesecake bites. For cheese fondue, you can try little smokies or other cut up lunch meat or salami. Try cutting up canned crescent rolls into bite size pieces and baking them. Those are delicious dipped in any kind of cheese fondue.
