If I down load any movie clips from limewire with avi at the side of them I either can't open the whole thing at all or i get visual with no sound? I have a Mac ibook G4...

you need this software if you can't open files (like mp4, divx and much more), play videos or if you see a missing codec message. This is a very useful software that will solve all your codec issues

you need divx player and you will not be able to watch it from the preview box on limewire you'll have to manuall open it from div x. Also some movies require codecs for audio or video output.
