I think Valentine's Day is for the guy to show how much he appreciate and loves her. I don't think it's a day for the boyfriend or friend.

That exactly why Valentines day is meaningless. Just a made up holiday for spoiled, ungrateful females to expect presents without having to give anything in return.
If you really think only the girl should get something, you don't deserve anything!

A relationship is a mutual thing, so Valentine's day is for both sexes to show appreciation for one another. If a girl loves a guy, he should receive a token of her love. and visa versa. Also, if a girl or guy loves their friend (as a friend, nothing more) than there is nothing wrong with showing appreciation through a little valentine's day card or something

Absolutely. I love giving to guys on Valentine's Day. I made my sunshine a little bag of goodies (massage oil with a coupon for an hour massage, little bottle of liquor and some chocolates). Don't you like to get gifts and see how much your girl appreciates you?

I disagree, I think it's a special day for the two people of the relationship. I always bought the guy I was dating at least a token of my affection, a stuffed animal or I paid for supper.

i really dont know thats a good question but my b/f got me something , so i got him something to to show him that i love him to. i think it is a day to show each other how much u care. but it is harder to find something for a boy then it is a girl.

v day is a day to celebrate your love for each other..
and that should be done however seems appropiate..
i bought my bf something.. i don't think he got me anything.. i don't think we will be doing anything.. and i don't really care that much..
i might end up takign what i got him back.. as i don't want to make him feel bad for not getting me anything
