That the U.S. doesn't speak for the all of the west. I am sure alot of Muslim countries don't hold alot of western countries in the highest light, and vice versa. It's a shame really because alot of people in Canada are very friendly towards Muslims. I am from Toronto, and I have alot of Muslim friends, there is never any tension, we will make fun of our religions, I am Catholic, but that's because we know it's nothing, and I love Jesus.

Even during the TTC bomb scare where there was a supposed terrorist link, most in Toronto didn't even look at another Muslim funny, most in Canada, and Germany realize that it's a few extremist causing most of the hatred.

That being said, I fully support the Canadian troops in Afghanistan, Canadian troops believe they're doing the right thing.

My only complaint with Muslims, is something the girls are kinda nice, and you wish they would take off their hijab so you can see the rest of them. So in the spirit of Valentines...less hate and more luv

With all due respect, while I agree with the sentiment, condemning most of the Arabic nations isn't about intolerance. It's about condemning nations that act poorly. If Syria and Iran were fundamnetalist Christian, and doing what they are now, we'd still condemn them.

Also with all due respect...you live in a wealthy, western, nation. Radical Islam occurs frequently because of material conditions. Desperation and hopelessness. I don't think your exposure to Islam in Canada qualifies you to make judgements on Muslims in the mid-east.

In the mid-east, the protocols of zion are a best seller. There is almost no condemnation of any of the violence by the Muslim community. With a few exceptions, most arab nations are still taking an Israel must be pushed into the sea approach to compromise.

It isn't just a problem of a few extremists in the mid-east. The conditions don't make it like Canada. There is no excuse to tolerate the behavior of MANY...not just a few extremist....Muslims in the mid-east....or Governments like Iran and Syria.

If the Egyptian government...a dictatorship with American backing....was to become a democracy....it would be a radical, theocratic, oppressive society.

No amount of toleration is going to change that.

Yes of course we realise not every westerners hate us and none of us (Muslims ) hate any of them either. However, as U could read for your self, what questions do these people ask the Muslims ? They ridicule, insult, embarrass, belittle, disrespect our prophet Muhammad and many others. As such, the response from the Muslim base on what they asked. At times, we need to defend our self from being label as Terrorist. Not all Muslims are Terrorist and not all Terrorist are Muslims. It is coincidental that many of them were known to be Muslims. But that does not mean Islam teach their worshippers to kill people. It is the individual interest to become a Terrorist. Thus, do not blame Islam, blame the person.

i also support American troops in Afghanistan. radical Islam has to be stopped.

The struggle for the soul of Europe today is every bit as dire and consequential as it was in the 1930s. Then, in Weimar Germany, the center parties, did not hold, and the light of civilization in Germany, and in most of Europe, nearly went out. Today, the continent has entered another ‘Weimar moment’. Will Europeans rise to the challenge posed by radical Islam, or will they cave in once again to the extremists.

Immigrants to Europe bring with then many tribal customs that are inconsistent with a Western understanding of human rights. These customs represent flash points of conflict between Muslim communities and their host societies, though for a long time media has done their best to ignore or downplay them. Among these are: Female Genital Mutilation; Arranged Marriage; Honor Killings; and the implementation of Sharia laws.

You should not complain about a Muslim woman wearing a hijab. It is her right to wear it. Why would you want to see the rest of them anyway?
