Technically yes, but they'll make you work off all of your debt... and unless you can eventually pay for the over $380,000 it takes to climb all the way up the hierarchal ladder, you probably won't do much advancing through their levels. Oh, and yes, that figure is accurate: http://www.xenu.net/archive/prices.html
Oh, also, if you ever happen to participate in their "sea org" and you leave the church under unfavorable conditions, the church then charges you a "free-loader debt" which is basically retroactive billing for any auditing received or any Scientology training received while in the Sea Org, which can run into tens of thousands of dollars.

Yes. There are tons of ways to get some Scientology that cost nothing. Lot's a free introductory services, books you can get from a library. .All churches have Free Scientology Centers.
Ton's of Scientology Volunteer Ministers who will help you. (At no cost)
Money is only society's accepted means of exchange. There are other kinds of exchange . Scientologists believe in the principle that some form of exchange is necessary in any relationship. If a person receives and never gives he loses his own self respect.
If you increase your ability to handle life and you want to increase your income then you can change the condition of being poor. You don't have to stay that way. Changing and improving conditions is what Scientology is about.

I suspect the Church of Scientology's only restriction for joining them (though it pains me to think anyone would want to) is that you be willing to suspend all disbelief and critical thought, so that you can readily swallow all the claptrap they are going to feed you.
Please consider doing a little research before joining, if it's you who's thinking about it. Ask yourself what you hope to get out of it. Then, no matter what the answer--unless it's to meet other Scientologists or meet lots of gullible people--I guarantee there's a better answer for you somewhere else.
Good luck.

Yes, but you end up having to work for them to afford your auditing sessions.
An auditor earns a percent of the cost of an auditing session and this is credited to an account that they can use to pay the costs of their own auditing or other 'Church' activities.
Not myself a scientologist, but know some and have studied the 'religion'.

Sure why not. Unfortunately the poor will not be able to afford the services that drive thetans from the body, meaning that there can be poor Scientologists but they won't be very clean or enlightened. Kinda the same way that poor people are treated in most main steam Christian denominations. Think about the last time a bum was welcomed in church.

Being poor is acceptable as long as you try to recruit the wealthy.

If you can't pay, they "let" you to work for them for free in exchange for your training.
