Irrigating the mountain tops would be effectively making use of its water resource without digging open canals that causes land slides. Majority of Indian mountains are full of snow (Himalayas in north) or rains (south and north-east). This technology may suit to some other countries.

why dont you ask the indian government?
i strongly doubt that there are any high-ranking, indian government officials scouring yahoo answers for potential revenue-making idea.
