It seems like if you have a burning desire to sing a song at you wedding; there must be a special song in your heart that would be perfect for the occasion. All it needs to do is express your feelings for him. There are a lot of beautiful songs out there. My daughter wanted to sing at her wedding, but she changed her mind. I was glad that she did. The extra pressure would have been so hard on her. When your day comes, you won't believe the emotions and excitement and everything else that goes with it. If you are sure, you will find that special song. They say, all things work themselves out for good.

Sing something that means a lot to you and your future husband, but make sure it is something that has a good and beautiful meaning behind it as well. You could try singing I will be here by Stephen Curtis Chapman, From This Moment by Shania Twain as many people before have suggested. You could try Always and Forever unfortunatly I cannot remember who sang that, Your Song by Elton John, Don't Know Much by Aaron Nevile, Several of Billy Joel's earlier songs are not only beautiful but have tons of meaning behind them. Just keep in mind that this day is about the two of you and if it touches just the two of you that is all that truly matters.
Good Luck!!!!

There was a song in the sixties I think simply called 'The Wedding' Starting words were 'You by my side that's how I see us' Should be no problem finding it. If it's a tear jerker you are looking for try that. It got a bit hard on the ear at that time but probably the age group at your wedding would never had heard it and really touched.

Depending on your situation, "The Day Before You" and "God Blessed The Broken Road" by Rascall Flatts are both great songs. If country music isn't your thing, Clay Aiken has done some fabulous remakes of love songs from the past few decades on his "A Thousand Different Ways" album. Personally, I like his verson of "When I See You Smile". Finally, if you want something a little "different", get the "The Songs Of West Side Story" album and listen to "One Hand, One Heart" by Tevin Campbell. It definitely is a bit more R & B. Hope these suggestions help and that you have a wonderful wedding day!

Can I be frank? Although I do not know if you have a good voice or not, why do you want more stress on your big day? It seems like a great idea now but really, it's your day anyway, everyone is going to have eyes on you whether you sing or not. It seems a bit hokey.

pick a song that means a lot to you and your future husband. i was going to sing a song to huband at our wedding... it expressed exactly how i felt for him and i had told him that before. i decided not too... just something else to be stressed about. but i think it's a wonderful idea.
