My best friend is in Iraq until October. I just happen to see her boyfriend at my OB/GYN's office with a pregnant girl. The way they were sitting was like he was the father. I didn't say anything but my g'friend found out about it. She said that he wants to be a responsible father but doesn't want to be with the mother. He also said that it was a mistake and really wants to work it out between them to? Would you forgive him?

Hell, no! He's nothing but a male Jody and needs someone to kick his worthless butt. If he didn't want to be with the mother then he should have kept his pants on. His actions not only put his girlfriend in danger due to the added stress of finding out her man is a no good dog, but he also put her whole squad in danger because she's not going to be at her best to preform her duties. If they were married he could have actually been charged with a crime by the military. And so could his little tart. Adultery caries a twenty year sentence in a military jail. And I'm not even going to go into what the whole situation is going to do to the poor baby. Just remember, all of you state side spouses, if they're willing to put their lives in danger to serve their country, you can at least have the decency to keep your pants on.

if he got the girl pregnant before we started going out, yes. if he got the girl pregnant while dating me, no, b/c he had cheated on me. two thumbs up for being there for the mother and wanting to be a responsable father, we already have enough in the world that arent.

seems you are the only one having a problem here, if your friend and the man want to work it out, you should stay out of it and support your friends wishes.
