Big deal...it's his life, not yours. I have some gay relatives too but that's no reflection on me. Besides, how is it any of your friend's business if he is gay?

Why should you feel ashamed? He is still family and you love them right. Just because he chooses a different life style does not make him any less of a person. Be a supportive sister and roll with the punches.

How old are you, like 3? you type like a 3 year old, and you act like one too! just because someone is gay, or a lesbian, does NOT make them a lesser person. Are you like, stuck in the 1880's? Everyone knows that gay rights is a huge thing, and your acting like Bush! You wouldn't know personality and beauty if it slapped you right in your richy, middle-class, popular face! Your going to be in a sticky situation, and noone is going to help you, you pompous idiot!

Feel ashamed? Why? Other than the fact that you now know its true, nothing has changed. Just be accepting of him for who he is and what his choices in life are. And learn to be tolerant of others, it goes hand in hand with becoming a mature adult.

He'll always be your relative. He'll always be your blood. you can't replace him. Get new friends if their not underdtanding. Also remember your relative is living in his own torment. The prejeduce of people that are different. Im not asking you to accept it but to be understanding and remember that he will always be in your family....but friends come and go.
Best Wishes to you and your Family

Why? What are your issues? I never understood why people let others choices affect them so much. Get over it. Don't make a big deal out of it and others around you will soon stop. Stand up for him.

having a gay family member is nothing to be ashamed of or hurt by. would you rather him live a lie forever? stop being selfish, this isn't about you.

you love him even more, and you pray to God that he'll realize that he wasn't made to live that lifestyle.
