I have a 7 year old boy. And I cant go every 2 weeks like the guys do so it tends to get outgrown before I get back to the barber shop. I ask for it as short as possible on the sides( takes longer to grow out) But I dont like the skin head look so , I ask for them to cut the top short... but with a sicsors. line him up along the front, around his ears and the back of the neck. Thast usually it.

None of those anyone is telling you a LOW maintaince cut back!! i'm a Stylist... and that i notice with sons and daughters the hair grows two times as rapid as in Adults! unhappy yet genuine the recent form for Boys is an prolonged Shag seem! (I hate it, yet anyone asks for it) and that they arrive in approximately the different month to get slightly cut back off! i'm specific you be conscious of of The Suite existence of Zack and Cody- its the lads Haircut!

a fade....usually they will do the bottom half of the head a shorter cut...with clippers I would suggest a 3 guard on bottom & 4 on top....the top will be 1 length longer than the top....it is low maintaince & looks good.

Short on the side and back, and let the top hang straight. He only has to wash it, let it dry naturallly or with a blow dryer, and comb it forward.

No just kidding. I would go with an electric shaver and keep it trimmed as short as you want it.
