We've been involved in many wars as a member of the Commonwealth. If you consider Vietnam, that was essentially an unresolved conflict that we pulled out of. I don't think it is considered to be a loss.
To answer the people above, thousands of Australians troops fought and died in:

Vietnam
Iraq (both 1990 and 2003)

Hmm..As far as history books go, Australia has never been in a war, besides sending some troops in some conflicts, like Irak.

to thses ppl wondeirng if austrialia has ever been 2 war... yes they have in ww1 and ww2 while still prat of the britsh empire.. and no australia has never lost a war cause ww1 and ww2 r the only battles they have fought

I doubt it. They were pretty heavily involved in WWII (Australia was about to be invaded by the Japanese), but they and the rest of the Allies won that war.

well, th popultion there is pre-domintly greekand mostly greek. oh! and guys listen, the turks were running everything in cyprus with the help of the british. the british helped them set up the turkish cypriot police force to run everything in the state. but, the turkish government says that the greeks were attempting genocide on the turks living there but, how could they? the turks are in charge of everything there! and suddenly 1974 turkey invades and unfairly tears out the heart of cyprus in the north. and made an illegal entity there that is de facto . and when i see videos ANYWHERE! there are only pictures REAL PICTURES! of dead greek civilians and in ALL the videos i see the turkish soliders running and killing greek men who were running away from the artillery shells. CYPRUS IS GREECE! MARK MY WORDS! GREECE WILL NOT LET THIS INJUSTICE TOWARDS THEM GO UNPUNISHED!
