I need to print address on my wedding invitations, and I tried printing 1 and the ink leaked (the words smudged). How can I print without the ink on the words leaking or smudging??
..The envelopes are glossy...

PLEASE HELP

That's the thing with glossy paper. You might want to spray it with a fixative.

But what you could do is.....
Make your invitation and print it out on regular paper. Go to an office supply store like Office Depot or Staples, put your glossy paper in their copier & make copies of the invitation.

I do this for my keepsake marriage certificates and brochures. In fact, one of the managers told me he did this exact thing with their wedding invitations.

Just do one at a time time you get the copier set to your invitation or paper. Hopefully they have staff that will help.

If you are talking about the envelopes...im getting clear address labels form avery. I'll print on the labels and then stick them on the envelopes and since they are clear it looks very nice and its much much easier because you get to print like 8 at a time. Theres 8 labels per sheet.

If its on the invitation itself...you might need to change the paper stock. It might not be compatible with your printer so you might want to look into getting them printed somewhere as well. Good luck!

What I did tith mine was i went to walmart and bought some of the avery labels you can make as many or as little as you need. They worked out great for me but with glossy paper it might be hard to print them but good luck in what ever you decide.

your printer may not be compaitable with the type of paper. Laser versus inkjet may be the problem, or if it is a heavy gloss you may not be able to rpint in general. Options are to either a: hand address them (which looks much more thought ful) or b: get clear lables that you can print that addreeses on adhear them to the envelopes
