I have small bumps the color of my skin (not red like acne) on the back on my thighs. What are they and how can I get rid of them to have smooth skin?

Try a buff puff or Body puff in the shower with shower gel, not soap. Soap makes them worse. I have the same problem but on the back of my arms too. I use one of those 4 sided nail buffers and gently sand them down a little each day. Or you can pay to have microdermabrasion ($100 each) done or buy a kit at the store (about $25). Find a lotion for sensitive skin. The dryness makes them worse.

Hello chellebet,
This could be clogged pores. I had some small bumps the same color of my skin & went to the Dr. said clogged pores.

Might visit Dawnsskincare.com a very nice informative site

Best wishes for the bumps to disappear,
jan

This is VERY common, I have it too!! Lotions dont seem to work. I would suggest you get more healthy oils in your foods like Omaga 3's, vitamin E and D. These help rejuvanate skin. Walnuts, fish, soy, flax seeds, canola oil, are some suggestions (all ver healthy but things I'm not too fond of) These can also be found in capsule form but dont absorb into the body as well as the real foods. Limit your intake of white breads and starches also. It is common to have this on your upper arms too, if we are thinking of the same thing. Also consider if you have any food allergies or allergies to laundry detergents or cloth materials.

You should go and see a dermatologist and they will be able to prescribe you a lotion that will clear it up. I had the same thing on my upper arms and legs and it will take about 2 weeks to clear up. There is no other home remedy to correct it. I tried everything. It is like a heat rash from wearing long sleves and pants.

Truthfully I don't know what the bumps are but try like coco butter cream or lotion.Make sure it's not an allergic reaction to something. Depending on how long you had them, make sure you are not allergic to any clothing material also.

I have been using a great product from Nu Skin. It has been working really well for me this past year. Check out this page, there is a ton of stuff for all kinds of ailments.
