Can you update records in an Access table automatically from an Excel file without replacing the entire table?

I I download data weekly and paste it into an Excel file. I then have to manually update my access table with any updated information to previously loaded records and add any new records. Is there a command or process I need to research that I can use to update the records for me automatically?

Yes, there is a program that will link the two, so that any change in one will update the other.

Make sure the headers in your excel file is same as the field names in your access table.
I access, create a new link table, link it to the excel file. Create a append query (to extract all the data in the excel table and append the results in access tables).
As usual, make a backup first.
